I’m not a fan of local horror films pero this one is promising, esp the trailer. ganda ng lighting at video quality. “pang hollywood” ikka nga. hahaha. check out the trailer guys.

Not much is known about director Yam Laranas’ The Road as of late,but the director has sent over the 1st teaser poster as a Killer Film exclusive as well as confirming to us that Johan Söderqvist,who scored Let the Right One In,will score The Road.The Philippine director impressed the genre crowd wth his The Echo,and now he’s back with the mysterious The Road.
A twelve year old cold case is reopened when three teens are missing in an abandoned road. In the course of the investigation, deeper and gruesome stories of abduction and murders are discovered. After more than two decades, the secrets of the haunted road may finally be revealed.
Carmina Villarroel, Rhian Ramos, TJ Trinidad, and Wendell Ramos star. On Laranas’ blog, he’s offered a few cryptic words on the project: “You drive. You get lost. You are alone. It’s all about excitement and nervousness. Yah, from the page to the screen that’s what they say. I will try to relax because I feel that my head is spinning due to the non-stop bombardment of imagery that I want to see through my lens.”
